Documents are as follows
1) Material Safety Data Sheet（SDS/MSDS）
In European countries, MSDS is also called SDS(Safety Data Sheet). The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) adopts SDS terminology，however，the United States, Canada, Australia and many Asian countries use MSDS terms。MSDS is a comprehensive legal document on the characteristics of chemicals provided by chemical production or sales enterprises to customers according to legal requirements。It provides sixteen contents, including physical and chemical parameters, explosive performance, health hazards, safe use and storage, leakage disposal, first aid measures and relevant laws and regulations. MSDS/SDS has no definite expiration date, but MSDS/SDS is not static.
There are 16 items in MSDS, and not every item needs to be provided by enterprises, but the following points are necessary: 1) product name, usage suggestions and usage restrictions; 2) Details of the supplier (including name, address, telephone number, etc.) and emergency telephone number; 3) Composition information of the product, including substance name and CAS number; 4) Physical and chemical characteristics of the product, such as shape, color, lightning, boiling point, etc. 5) Which country to export to and what standard MSDS is needed.
2) Certificate for safe transport of chemical goods
Generally, the goods are identified according to the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)2005, the 14th edition of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, the List of Dangerous Goods (GB12268-2005), the Classification and Name Number of Dangerous Goods (GB6944-2005) and the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
In China, it is best for the agency that issues the air cargo appraisal report to be approved by IATA. If it is transported by sea, Shanghai Chemical Research Institute and Guangzhou Chemical Research Institute are generally designated. The certificate of goods transportation conditions can be completed within 2-3 working days under normal conditions, and it can be completed within 6-24 hours if it is urgent.
Because of the different judging standards of various modes of transport, each report only shows the judging results of one mode of transport, and reports of multiple modes of transport can also be issued for the same sample.
